Winter Blues

June dawns upon us as silently as May left. 2005 has come half way - and it feels just like yesterday we celebrated the new year. The autumn leaves have fallen, and as the weather stars to chill itself more and more, full aresenal of coats and scarves appear to dorn the wardrobes of individuals trying to get and keep themselves warm. Although Sydney does not go any colder than 4 degrees, it's pretty much cold enough for me!

Plans for the wedding are finally falling into place. Dresses organised, venues booked. The list of "To Do"'s is shrinking rapidly - a very good thing indeed. Guests are being finalised - invites are being organised as we speak. Hopefully, they will be ready by end of next week to be handed/delivered (fingers crossed!). The initial lot of photos our photographer did for us came out really nicely - it's down to choosing the right ones to print/blow up for the guestbook and other peraphenelia (if required).

This is getting exciting... I have organised events before - but this is something else... :P

I do really look forward to married life. Sure - it won't be an easy journey - but like everything else, it certainly is a learning curve. I relish in the fact that there IS someone that wants to spend the rest of their life with me... stories and ancedotes of people falling in love and all that - it's not a story anymore for me. I am living it... may have taken 28 years - but I'm there. :)

I guess the next step in all of this is the family bit. Children - we want 3 - and I do sincerely pray that circumstances will prevail and we will be able to grow into a family where love is in abundance for each other, and for others as well.

Superficial it may be sounding, but then again - I never though someone could actually love me like he does. Superficial - it works for me!

Until the next profound insight into life - here's leaving you with some Blahnik's... so wish I could have them for the wedding... Hah!
