I'm Sorry...

To the person I did this to last night...

....I am eternally sorry.

Having a husband that rides as well - I promised myself never to hurt any other bikers as I've heard enough about drivers not looking out for them. And silly ole' me went and run straight into a poor biker's back - even after looking out for him, seeing him zoom past me, stop, and stop again - which was when it happened. Totally my fault though... I should have been more diligent and waited until he cleared himself before I went... *bangs head on table* Arghhh... Sigh~~

And my first time too (an accident, I mean)! How uncanny... first time, with a bike, that I've vowed not to hurt... Was un-nerving, I tell you!

Well, good thing is no one was hurt - only a little pride, the car front bumper /scratches on hood, and a very expensive exhaust pipe.

Hubby's organising the insurance claims, which I've been told is not too bad. Hopefully it's going to be OK for Mr.Biker as well. Seems like it's only his exhaust's busted... they are fast, but they are fragile... I'm praying that nothing else is broken. Any fracture, however small, may cost the bike if not fixed properly. Sigh~Sigh~~

We live, we learn. I've learnt - and I'm staying way clear of bikes now when I'm in the car!
