Raindrops Keep Falling...

It's been raining, no, pouring since Sunday's return from Stanwell Tops.

The perfect, pristine afternoon we had Saturday afternoon frolicking on Stanwell Park beach was pretty much washed away with an overcast Sunday, then, as we were returning to Sydney, the heavens opened up for some much needed rain.

Although the water is welcomed (Sydney has been having
water problems of late) heavy showers and gale-forced winds have wrecked some havoc on the coastline of Sydney, and as of today, it is still going (as according to the news). It's cleared up where I am - and it's looking pretty promising for tomorrow. Pray that it will keep that way - it wouldn't be nice to have rain at the sister's convocation, would it? :)

With the sister's convocation - the parents are also here. Yippie - have been having Mummy's home cooked food for the past few nights... *slurp* It's always good to have "home cooked" food. Not that I can't do my own, but it's different when Mum does it. Must be that Mum-touch thing... have found that even when I follow Mum's recipe to the dot - it never turns out as good as she does it. Or may be it's just the setting (home at HOME vs home here in Sydney). Oh - I don't know... all I know is - Mum's the best! :)

It's been a busy month for me... a good, busy month. God rules - He's amazing - and there is not a day I don't thank Him for all He's done.

It's a promise - and I claim it - in His son's wonderful and precious name! :)

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
